Enjoy!Lets Be Friends:
I’m honored to be a part of this blog…I’ve known the author for many years now and consider her one of my greatest friends. So I’m just going to write about friends…Lets take a look at the word itself. Friend. F is forever. R is for real. I is for inside. E-n-d, self explanatory, until the end. A friend is going to be by your side forever. Hell or high water. Ups and downs. During times of plenty and during times of plenty trouble. Time and distance orchestrate physical closeness but the depth and security of a true friendship is eternal. A friend will let you know the real deal. Do I look fat in this? Yes, you do, my friend. Is he/she good for me? No, my friend. He/she is a dead-beat, down-low, free loading whore…and when they smile I notice that their teeth are in dire need of some dentist care…and their breath stinks…Am I conceited? Yes you are and you really have no reason to be…my friend. Will I make it through this hard time? Yes you will because you’re the strongest and most stubborn person I know…my friend. Inside. You only let friends inside. Inside your heart, your home, your family. If you let just anyone inside you’re liable to have to kill somebody…people these days want what they can’t have. Your job. Your car. Your spouse. Your whatever it is they don’t have. With a true friend you can comfortably share every aspect of your life and know they’re safe. End. Until the end. From the beginning until the end. All these are secured destinations within a friendship. Fights and skirmishes are inevitable and part of the human makeup. Within a true friendship these obstacles are never insurmountable because of the Forever Real Inside kindredship that is shared. I have met many people. I’ve acquired a number of acquaintances. I have a few friends.
Thank you Jae Mac for being one of them.
