Don’t Wake Me Up! – Immortal Sleep Product Review

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

Every now and again my husband has an extremely difficult time falling asleep.  I’m not a doctor, but I’m pretty sure he doesn’t suffer from insomnia.  However, I haven’t completely ruled it out.  Based on my extensive research on WebMD, I’ve come to the conclusion, or you might say “diagnosis”; that he has shift work sleep disorder.

Shift work sleep disorder is trouble sleeping because you work nights or rotating shifts.  He’s worked nights for at least a decade and has been working a 12 hour shift (6p – 6a) for 5 years.  Basically his body’s 24 hour internal clock is completely out of whack and some mornings, which are his nights, are worse than others.  There are days when he does not fall asleep until after noon; less than 4 hours of sleep to work a 12 hour shift – NOT GOOD!

About a month ago, I received a free sample of Immortal Sleep by Immortal Herbs for a product review.  After trying numerous sleep aids, medications, yes I said medications and possibly some toxic combinations; I asked him to try Immortal Sleep a natural herbal sleep aid by Immortal Herbs.  His first reaction was one of amusement.  He thought the name, Immortal Sleep, sounded a lot like death. We both got a chuckle from that comment, but if it works…

Immortal Sleep is a 100% All – Natural sleep aid formulated from wild grown Chinese herbs designed for people who have difficulty falling asleep, poor quality sleep, irritability, agitation, fatigue and lack of focus.

Depending on the day, Hubs suffers from all of the above.

This Deep-Sleep Formula is safe and effective, non-habit forming with no side effects or next day drowsiness.*  You can find out more about Immortal Sleep by Immortal Herbs here.

So does it work?

From my husband’s perspective, Yes and No.  Yes it did finally put him to sleep about 30 or 40 minutes after taking it, but it did not provide him with an uninterrupted good day’s sleep; waking up a few times shortly after finally drifting off to sleep.  The recommended dosage is 3-4 capsules 30 minutes before bed.  He took 3 capsules, but believes if he had taken 4 capsules he might have better luck staying asleep.

There are a few capsules left, so I might give Immortal Sleep a try, but seeing how I’m the kind of girl who falls asleep after a hot toddy I may not be the best lab rat.

I’m Just Sayin’…(Damn!)
