Apparoo App of the Week – Tic Toc Time

Many years ago I remember using a paper plate to make a clock to help my kids learn how to tell time. I’m no MacGyver, therefore, I have only one word to explain that experience – BRUTAL; for all involved. By the time it was over (no pun intended) I’d be willing to bet at least one of them wanted to punch me in the face.

To this day, I’m not sure which one out of the three can actually tell time on an analog clock or watch.

Based on my personal struggles and shortfall, I really excited to share with you the Apparoo App of the Week  – Tic Toc Time, an award winning app that teaches kids to tell time, it’s normally $3.99 but you can  Download it here now for just $.99!

DESCRIPTION:
From a kid’s perspective, time is a bizarre concept: there are 60 seconds and 60 minutes, but 12 hours… unless there are 24! And phrases like ‘a quarter til’ and ‘half past’ that we take for granted just seem to make their brains melt. Tic Toc Time takes a holistic approach to teaching time; a family of beavers leads a progression of fun games that first explain using a compass and the movement of the sun and shadows before logically arriving at both digital and analog time-telling. A good time is guaranteed for all! Download it here now.

I’m very excited about this and welcome your feedback if you decide to install.

In a last ditch effort, I’m thinking about downloading the app on each of my kids’ phones.  They’re much older and more than likely they will be insulted, but you can’t blame a girl for trying.

I’m Just Sayin’…(Damn!)
